Commercial Group launches Sino-UK Economic and Trade Interactive Platform
Commercial Group, the recently AIM listed company established to invest in property development, is pleased to announce the signing of an agreement in Beijing between Mr. James Braithwaite, Chairman of South East England Development Agency ("SEEDA") and Mr. Xu Bingjin, Chairman of China-Europe Association for Technical & Economic Cooperation ("CEATEC") for the establishment of a Sino-UK Economic and Trade Interactive Platform. The platform will facilitate the growth of mutual business between China and the UK, general competitiveness, communication mechanisms and cultural understanding through a series of projects.
The projects which include a Sino-UK Major Forum in July 2007 to be hosted in the UK, the development of a 300 hectare China High-tech industrial Park in the UK for between 20 to 30 Chinese Technology Manufactures, a UK Centre in Beijing with the capacity for between 300 to 500 small and medium-sized British Technology Manufacturers and a 100,000m2 British Product Processing Park in Tianjin, China. All these projects have been mandated to be actioned as soon as possible and their implementation has been assigned to Commercial Group working in partnership with Chinamex Middle East Investment and Trade Promotion Centre ("Chinamex").
